TimIQ Software

The TimIQ system is an IQ modulator allowing to phase shift a radio frequency clock with a resolution of 40 fs and an accuracy of 8 ps. It is a join development between Synchrotron SOLEIL and MAX IV. The hardware and a general description can be founded at TimIQ Hardware.

The TimIQ uses a BeagleBone CPU board for control. A embedded web server sends and receives the data and the commands. The embedded software is written in Phyton and a Tango device allows to include easily the TimIQ to the control system.

This repository holds the TimIQ embedded software.
