White Rabbit is a project that includes various flexible elements developed according to an Open philosophy. We try to fulfil the needs of all our clients, for this we have designed WR node box to be used with any SPEC+FMC board. With the box and the correct gateware, you can use your WR node in standalone mode (not directly connected to any PC). Then if your gateware is compatible with etherbone, you can access to the functionalities of your FMC card by connecting through LAN. A tool to ease the discovery and setup of standalone mode is currently under development.
