ISPCS2012 conference is the PTP conference. Since WR extends PTP, it is very important for the project.

At the conference, WR was very visible thanks to as many as 3 WR-related regular papers which were presented and our participation in the PlugFest.

This year, the ISPCS conference was an opportunity for the PTP community to decide on the shape of the upcoming PTP standard revision. Wouldn’t it be nice to include WR into PTPv3?

During the Special Session of ISPCS2012 conference, White Rabbit was proposed to be included into the PTP standard within the upcoming revision (presentation, proposal paper).
The proposal was well received and chances are that White Rabbit will become an implementation of the High Accuracy Profile using High Accuracy Optional Clause, both included into PTPv3.
