Alessandro Rubini presented the new protocol family ZIO (PF_ZIO) at the Embedded Linux conference Europe 2012 in Barcellona. The presentation started with a rapid overview about the ZIO framework to explain the development context of the new protocol family.

WR proposed to be included into PTPv3
