Etherbone Hardware Master
Finished the first hand tested version of a hardware eb master recently. So far everything works nicely and it looks quite performant, the interface looks and feels a bit like a DMA controller kind of thing.

Transparent Bridge Wrapper for EBM
A transparent bridge approach over UDP should be feasible, but there are restrictions for this usecase. These would be: - Only one packet in flight at any given time to avoid reordering

Hardware and VHDL design notes published
An engineer-to-engineer note describing the hardware and VHDL design of the Fine Delay has been published. It provides a lot of information on the internals of the FD card, calibration techniques, White Rabbit implementation, Acam’s TDC and programming the card’s registers.

spec-sw 2013-05 is released
The release includes a number of improvements over v2013-01, but the package design is the same. We`ll have a new wr-nic driver soon (spec-sw-2013-06), but meanwhile this merges the new allocation

Alpha board is mostly working.
It looks like the alpha_0 is (mostly) working. Still ironing a few kinks. Andres and Maria Liz have carried out electrical tests on Sanjee’s alpha board, and have written stub FPGA code that allows to read from any channel.
